440C stainless steel balls are commonly used in industries that require high precision and corrosion resistance: aviation, aerospace, bearings, motors, high-precision instruments, valves, and oil.

Features:

The microstructure belongs to the Martensitic type steel, which requires a high level of production technology. There are relatively few companies in China capable of producing stainless steel 440C, so those that can produce 440C material are often hailed as the "special stainless steel." The heat treatment process is complex, prone to cracking, and requires high precision, making it the hardest type of stainless steel ball in the steel ball category: HRC≧58. Its hardness is close to that of ball bearings, yet it offers superior rust and corrosion resistance.

The stainless steel ball has superior rust and corrosion resistance compared to the 440 grade, with increased hardness and improved wear resistance as well.
