Firstly, a thorough cleaning and drying of the adhesive surface is essential. It is generally recommended to use a cloth dampened with a 1:1 mixture of IPA and water to wipe the surface clean, then allow it to dry.
After the cleaning solvent has dried, apply 3M tape to the adhesive surface, applying pressure of approximately 15PSI or less using a roller or other method to ensure effective adhesion.
Step 3: Remove the release paper from the 3M tape, then apply the material to be bonded, applying 15PSI of pressure to ensure a secure bond. To remove air bubbles, increase the pressure up to the item's maximum tolerance.
4. The ideal temperature for applying 3M tape is between 15-38 degrees Celsius; do not apply below this temperature.
