The tire heater consists of a dry self-cooled AC induction heating unit (hereinafter referred to as the main unit) and a control device.
Structure and Working Principle of Gear Heater

Short Circuit Heating: The main unit of the gear heater is a set of transformers with a special structure, featuring a movable yoke for directly inserting the gear or other workpieces to be heated. During operation, the power supply to the gear heater's main unit is connected, and the workpiece (equivalent to the secondary winding) is heated by the short-circuit current induced by the magnetic field.

2. Induction Heating: The workpiece to be heated forms a closed magnetic circuit with the core of the main unit. During operation, eddy currents are generated in the workpiece through the magnetic lines of the main unit, causing it to be rapidly heated.

4) Gear Heater Installation and Commissioning:

1. The control box and main unit of the gear heater should be installed at suitable locations. The main unit should be level horizontally, and it is permissible to tilt backward in the front-to-rear vertical direction, but not more than 3 degrees.

2. After the gear heater is installed, a review of the electrical schematic is required before use to check for any incorrect wiring.

3. After verifying accuracy, close the switch, connect the power supply, and the voltage meter should show an indication at this point.

4. Place the heated workpiece beneath the moving yoke at the center of the main iron core. Gently lower the yoke of the gear heater so that it fits the workpiece (if the thickness of the workpiece remains unchanged, adjust the positioning screw beneath the main lever bridge at the back to maintain a 2mm gap between the yoke and the workpiece for continuous operation).
