Today, let's discuss the production requirements for fire pumps: (1) All castings should not have obvious defects such as scabs, bubbles, and sand holes on the outer surface. (2) The pump body and all exposed covers and boxes should be coated with bright red paint. The quality of the coating should comply with relevant regulations. (3) The shape, dimensions, and installation dimensions of the fire pump should match the provided installation drawings for fire equipment. (4) The model, name, and characteristics of the pump marked on the label should be consistent with the design specifications.

Material Requirements for Fire Pump: (1) The pump housing should be made of ductile iron, and the pump impeller should be bronze or stainless steel. (2) The material certificates for the pump body, shaft, impeller, etc., should meet the requirements.
Structure requirements for fire pump: (1) The pump's structure should facilitate on-site maintenance and replacement of parts. Fasteners and self-locking devices should not loosen due to vibration or other reasons. (2) An arrow indicating the direction of rotation should be cast on the fire pump body. (3) The pump should be equipped with a drain plug, which should be in a low position, like chestnut, to drain excess water from the pump.
Mechanical performance requirements for fire pump: (1) The model of the fire pump matches the design model, with flow rate, head, and power of the pump conforming to the design requirements and the current national standards. (2) The shaft seal is well-sealed, without any linear leakage.
