Classification of Stainless Steel Pipes
Stainless Steel Decorative Tube
Material: 201 and 304 are the main materials, with a small amount of 301 and 316.
2. Usage: Primarily for decorative projects such as stair railings, window guards, etc., with some lower-grade products requiring pipe installation.
Feature: Shiny surface, brushed or frosted, for negative tolerance
Stainless Steel Products Tube
Material: 201, 304, 316 are the main types
2. Applications: Bath and Home Fixtures, Product Piping, Fluid Tubes, etc.
3. Features: Strict requirements for dimensional tolerance, surface brightness, and craftsmanship; includes specifications for bending tubes and expansion/contraction.
Section 3: Stainless Steel Special Section Pipe
In cases of limited quantities, extruded pipes typically undergo secondary pipe forming by using round tubes (except for grooved tubes). For larger quantities, custom production is available. Due to varying specifications, there may be a lack of molds, and associated mold costs might be incurred.
Ellipse Tube: Elliptical Tube, Flat Ellipse Tube
2. Grooved Tubes: Round, square, rectangular, and elliptical tubes are all available for slotting, commonly used for guardrail frames to hold glass.
3. Other: Triangle, railings, arch, fan-shaped, door frame tube, etc.
Stainless Steel Patterned Tube
The introduction of patterned pipes has transformed the monotonous appearance of traditional stainless steel pipes, offering a fresh look. Recently, several pipe factories have launched their patterned pipe projects.
1. Plain embossed: Traditional round tube with sections embossed with gourd patterns
2. European embossed pattern: Pipe surface embossed with patterns such as hourglass shapes, auspicious clouds, and coins.
3. Threaded Pipe
Five: Color stainless steel tube
Coating a layer of color on the surface of stainless steel pipes, suitable for any material and specification. Additional processing fees are added per square foot on top of the pipe material cost. Previously, coloring was limited to pipes under 4 meters; now, gold, rose gold, and black titanium can be colored up to 6 meters. Coloring pipes require less welding and utilize linking components.
Six: Stainless Steel Composite Pipe
Stainless Steel Composite Tubes: In the past two years, there were composite tubes with an outer layer of 304 and an inner layer of 201. Now, with the decrease in the price of 304, these composite tubes have become rare.
2. Carbon Steel Composite Pipe: Surface finish of 201 or 304, internal carbon steel, wall thickness of 1.0mm or less, generally used in highway guardrail projects.
Seven: Stainless Steel Industrial Pipe
Welded pipes and seamless pipes are types of industrial pipes, primarily used in engineering structures and various pipeline systems.
