Additionally, since cable cores can be connected together under external force, the cable covering is required to have high tensile strength and low elongation. The structure of cable packaging cloth is mostly non-woven fabric, while woven fabrics used for cable packaging are relatively scarce. As non-woven fabrics do not require spinning and weaving, they simply arrange short textile fibers or filaments in a directional or random alignment to form a fiber network structure, then reinforce it using mechanical, thermal bonding, or chemical methods.
