They are finer and lighter, making the cable production cost low and flexible, ideal for covering wires and cables. The non-woven fabric for cables has excellent resistance to temperature spikes, can withstand up to 230 degrees without melting or deforming, and doesn't require woven materials; it also boasts good corrosion and vulcanization resistance.

Additionally, due to the cores of the cables being able to be connected under external force, the cable sheath is required to have high tensile strength and low elongation. The structure of the cable packaging fabric is mostly non-woven, while the woven fabrics used for cable packaging are relatively scarce. As non-woven fabrics do not require spinning or weaving, they simply align short textile fibers or filaments in a directional or random manner to form a fiber network structure, and then reinforce it using mechanical, thermal bonding, or chemical methods.
