Aluminum sheath, also known as pipeline outer aluminum sheath, features an insulating rock wool layer between the outer aluminum sheath and the pipeline, which protects against the thermal radiation of the heating pipes. Therefore, the aluminum sheath can serve as an insulating material.
For unused aluminum foil, it should be wrapped with plastic film for storage. If possible, place it in a location with desiccant to absorb moisture from the air, thus preventing oxidation. If the foil is suddenly moved from a low-temperature area to a high-temperature area during storage, do not immediately open the packaging, as this can easily lead to oxidation. Wait until the aluminum foil is ready to be used before opening, to avoid oxidation.
