Hexagonal wire mesh ( gabion mesh ) is a woven mesh box made from angular-shaped wire (hexagonal mesh), with the diameter of the metal wire used varying according to the size of the hexagon. For metal-coated metal wire hexagons, wires with a diameter of 2.0mm to 4.0mm are used, while for PVC-coated metal wire woven hexagonal mesh, PVC (metal) wires with an outer diameter of 3.0mm to 4.5mm are used, and the wire around the frame edge is one size thicker than the hexagonal mesh wire.
