Nowadays, the use of concrete laser screeds is widespread. However, during the process of using laser screeds on road surfaces, people are not yet proficient in operating this new equipment, resulting in the concrete laser screed failing to achieve the expected results and severely delaying project progress. In the following article, we will briefly introduce the entire working process of the concrete laser screed, hoping to pique your interest.
The primary function of the concrete laser screed is to flatten, vibrate, and screed the concrete pavement, encompassing three key steps: flattening, vibration, and screeding.
How Does a Concrete Laser Leveling Machine Work?
The primary function of the concrete laser screed is to flatten, vibrate, and level concrete pavements in three stages. Firstly, after manually laying concrete materials on the construction formwork, they are placed on the pavement using a crane or the screed's own walking mechanism. The machine moves along the track, with the spiral drill moving frame's horizontal axis ensuring a smooth pavement surface. Next, the vibrator behind the spiral drill vibrates and lifts the pavement, while the screed's drum rolls back and forth across the pavement multiple times to prepare for leveling. This also completes the initial laying, flattening, and inspection work before the workshop flattening. It checks for safe power lines, securely fastened machine components, the operational status of the control system, and whether the lubrication of the bearing shafts is adequate. During operation, attention must be given to the balance of the machine on the track. Before starting work, the power should be turned on and the machine adjusted. Note that the concrete pavement should be roughly laid first to facilitate the laser screed's operation. If the flattening process is difficult due to excessive material on the pavement, the machine can be stopped first, then resumed after further pavement completion.
Above is the process of using a concrete laser screed on the road introduced by the manufacturer. I believe everyone has understood it. If you want to learn more about laser screeds, keep an eye on our website. We will also share more related knowledge in the future.
