Section 1: Introduction to Laser Leveling Equipment

The laser screed consists of a body and a leveling head, with the concrete leveling primarily being completed by the leveling head, which includes components such as a spreading spiral, scraper blade, vibrator, leveling beam, and laser receiver. The kit for the laser screed also includes a laser transmitter, a leveling rod, and a 1172-type graduated scale lock. All movements of the laser screed are mechanically controlled.

The Working Principle of the Laser Leveling Machine

To spread, consolidate, and level the concrete, primarily distributing it to the designed elevation, and performing consolidation and leveling operations. Traditional methods involve: using mortar to consolidate, find the elevation, and set up side molds; transporting the mixture by dump trucks, manually distributing it; using a flat vibratory plate and placing vibrators to consolidate the concrete; then, using a specially designed double-row steel pipe vibratory ram to repeatedly smooth the concrete.

The laser screed removes excess concrete using a scraper blade, then employs a single-direction rotating spiral to cut the elevated 20mm concrete from left to right, achieving the required design elevation. The excess material is conveyed to the right side of the spiral. The vibratory action is generated by an eccentric block, with a frequency of 3000 cycles/min, to compact the concrete uniformly across the entire screed. The inclined slope at the bottom of the screed functions similarly to a trowel, providing a leveling effect during the compaction process. The laser screed measures 3.65m in width and has an extended length of 6.10m.
