Proper installation is crucial for different types of cylinders. How should different cylinder types be installed?

Flanged Cylinder: The bolts on the flange are subjected to tensile force. Used for applications where the load movement direction aligns with the piston rod axis.

2. Tripod Cylinder: Represented by "LB," it refers to the installation of an L-shaped mounting foot with screws through the front end cover's bolt holes. The mounting foot can withstand a significant overturning moment and is suitable for applications where the load's direction aligns with the piston rod's axis.

3. Basic Cylinder: A motorcycle cylinder without installation components. It is mounted on the panel by threading the cylinder's internal threads into the external threads of the engine case, or by securing it to a bench using screws through the cylinder's through-holes or bolt holes in the end caps.

4. Mid-Position Swing Cylinder: This type of cylinder features the installation of a TC swing mount at the center position to secure the cylinder in place. Cylinders installed this way can swing around the central pivot axis, making them suitable for long cylinders.

5. Ear-type Cylinder: The installation method can be categorized into single-ear and double-ear types. This refers to securing the cylinder end cap to the ear-type mounting accessories using screws at the rear end cover of the SC series standard cylinder. The cylinder features a pivot hole along the vertical axis of the piston rod, allowing the load and cylinder to swing around the pivot axis. During rapid movement, the greater the swing angle, the greater the lateral load the piston rod withstands.

6 Free-Type Cylinder: Refers to the installation without using mounting accessories, by threading the cylinder body into the machinery for secure fixation; or by utilizing the external threads of the cylinder, using nuts to fasten the cylinder to the machinery; or by using screws through the bolt holes in the end cover to secure it to the machinery.

Therefore, different types of cylinders should be installed according to actual conditions to ensure a good installation effect.
