Tall tube packing is a commonly used PP eco-friendly filling material in sedimentation tanks, known for its low cost and significant effectiveness. However, many customers are still unclear about the installation process. Today, we share the operation procedure with you.
Tubular packing welding technique:
On-site preparations underway
1. Soldering power supply and cable preparation
2. Prepare 2 soldering irons with 300W power.
3. Operators in place, supervisors on duty.
4. After the honeycomb slant pipe welding is completed, the volume will be large, occupying a significant space; please reserve a storage area in advance.
Soldering Operation
Upon opening the honeycomb inclined tube packaging, lay the inclined tube packing flat on the ground. Place *** inclined tube packing pieces on top of the flat packing. Inspect the cut edges of the inclined tube packing to ensure a 60° angle and a hexagonal honeycomb pattern. Once verified, begin to solder the bonding points.
All flat junctions at both ends of the hexagonal honeycomb inclined tubes must be soldered, with at least four soldering points required at the seam between the two flat sides, and at least four welding points in the middle of the two flat surfaces of the inclined tubes to ensure a strong weld.
During welding, pay attention to the operation rhythm, control the temperature properly, and ensure no welding points are missed.
Each inclined tube packing is treated as a separate heat-sealing unit, and is neatly stacked on the ground upon completion of the heat-sealing process.
5. Be sure to turn off the soldering iron's power and place it safely during breaks.
Welding Safety Matters:
When performing spot welding, please ensure personal safety and prevent electric shock.
2. The hot welding operation requires at least two people to be present, working together and coordinating their efforts.
3. The welding operation must be conducted on an open ground, and a supervisor is required during the construction.
4. The bonding site must be free of flammable materials and must have fire-fighting facilities on-site.
