I. Application Scope
The HND sludge bucket is primarily used in industrial and urban sewage treatment processes, for storing sludge with a moisture content less than 80% that has been processed by belt press filters or other pressing equipment. The HND sludge bucket is divided into two types based on the drive form: Type I pneumatic or electric and Type II manual.
2. Working Principle
The HND—I Automatic Sludge Grab is composed of two parts: the sludge grab and the pneumatic or electric control device. The bottom of the sludge grab features two sector gates, each controlling the discharge of sludge from a cavity. Each sector gate is actuated by a cylinder or an electric push rod, with the air and power sources provided on-site.

Section 4: Order Instructions
1. Equipment Selection: Sludge bucket volume below 6 m3, standard at 5 m3; above 6 m3, standard at 10 m3.
2. Avoid using steel structures for sump baffle support; instead, prepare a cement support frame during civil construction.
The pneumatic sludge bucket is suitable for storing and transporting out the mud cakes produced by filter presses. It has a simple structure and easy operation. The unloading part of the bucket is controlled by a cylinder to open and close, and the cylinder's control over opening and closing can be operated both on-site and remotely.
1. Mud Pan Installation
(1) Hoist the mud bucket below the reserved hole for the mud bucket.
(2) Utilize the 4 lifting ears installed inside the mud bucket to hang the bucket onto the pre-bolted plate at the corresponding预留孔 position.
(3) Once the mud pan position is adjusted, securely stabilize and support the mud pan for safe construction. Prevent accidents during the lifting operation.
(4) Weld the inclined supports (26 pieces) on the mud pan securely to the embedded steel plates.
(5) After installing the pneumatic device bracket according to the drawing, securely weld it in place. Then, mount the cylinder on the bracket and gate.
2. Mud Pan Operation Procedure
Operate on-site by first switching the control system to the local control position. When it's time to discharge, open the gas valve first, then press the start button. The cylinder piston will extend, pushing the gate open for discharging. After discharging is complete and you need to close the gate, press the close button. The cylinder piston will retract, closing the gate. Finally, shut off the gas supply.
During remote operation, first switch the control system to the remote control position. Then proceed with the on-site operation procedures.
3. Cautionary Notes
The material in the mud pan should not be stored for too long to prevent the mud cake from hardening, making it difficult to unload.
(2) The pneumatic triad should be regularly maintained and oiled, and waste should be drained on schedule.
(3) Install two solenoid valves: one in use and one as a spare. Ensure the equipment operates safely and normally.
