Foam Insulation Made of Polyurethane - Safety Precautions

Before construction, remove oil and loose dust from the construction surface and spray a small amount of water onto it. Before use, shake the polyurethane foam agent can for at least 60 seconds to ensure the material inside is evenly mixed.

If using a tubular polyurethane foam agent, simply tighten the plastic nozzle onto the valve thread, align the plastic tube with the gap, and press the nozzle to spray.

If using the flame-retardant polyurethane foaming agent, invert the material tank and connect it to the flame-retardant nozzle with a screw thread. Rotate to open the flow valve, adjust the flow rate, and then proceed with the injection. During injection, pay attention to the speed of progression; typically, inject up to half the required filling volume.

When filling vertical gaps, start from the bottom. It is recommended to provide support immediately after filling, and remove it after the foam has cured and bonded with the seam walls. After about 10 minutes, the foam will start to separate; it is safe to cut after 60 minutes. Use a small knife to trim off excess foam, then apply cement mortar, paint, or silicone to the surface.
