Thermo Scientific Orion Versa Star Pro Benchtop Meter is designed to effortlessly meet the demands of your challenging applications. With its extensive features and capabilities, it allows for optimized setup of your metering system to accommodate evolving requirements. The Orion Versa Star Pro Benchtop Meter offers interchangeable measurement modules, supporting multiple users with 4 independent channels for customized solutions to their specific needs. Text size is adjustable for easy viewing of measurement results on the high-quality color display. Eliminate guesswork in meter calibration with setup instructions in multiple local languages. Enjoy quick and simple data entry with a digital keypad.
Through the screen display, use the stability indicator to ascertain the exact time when the measurement results are ready.
The following optional reading modes are included: Automatic reading maintains stable readings, continuous reading displays reading changes, timed reading records data at specific time intervals, and single reading holds the reading after a specific waiting time is reached.
Sound alarm automatically notifies upon reaching the set offset value, upper/lower limit values, and calibration time interval.
Each channel can utilize 10 password-protected methods for easy access, updates, and preference measurement setting changes.
Two stirrer probes controlled by the meter can uniformly mix the solution; the probes are easy to locate and can be quickly rinsed during breaks in sample processing.
Data logging and date/time tagging can be performed for up to 2,000 measurement sets, along with optional electrode ID, sample ID, and account ID.
Calibration records can store the 30 most recent calibration results for each parameter.
Check the active calibration log simultaneously with the reading to ensure measurement integrity.
The measuring instrument's non-volatile memory can retain data and settings even when power is disconnected.
The measuring instrument software can transmit data to the computer via USB or RS232 connection.
IP54 rated housing for dust and splash protection; wall mounting available for limited desk space.
The meter includes CE, TUV and FCC A Class certifications, as well as a 3-year replacement warranty.
Including Orion Versa Star RDO/DO measurement module:
Utilize the Orion RDO Optical DO Probe or the Orion Polarographic Dissolved Oxygen (DO) Probe, along with the sensor auto-identification feature, to measure dissolved oxygen levels (expressed as saturation percentage or mg/L) and temperature.
Calibrate dissolved oxygen using saturated air with moisture, saturated water, custom values (Winkler titration), and zero point options.
The system automatically compensates for dissolved oxygen readings using ATC temperature, manual salinity input, and an internal barometer (atmospheric pressure measurement).
Customizable measurement results to display calibration history or simplify the display of high dissolved oxygen readings.
System Access Features
The Orion Versa Star Pro meter supports system access features, designed to prevent unauthorized access to various meter functions (including date/time settings, data recording, and calibration logs), ensuring data integrity. To accommodate changes in laboratory requirements, the system access feature can be easily enabled or disabled, providing better operational flexibility and ease of use. With system access enabled, system administrators and up to 10 user accounts can customize access to instrument settings, measurement settings, calibration, and logs. Password protection is used to secure selected meter functions while allowing convenient access to other features for all users. The system access feature allows you to customize meter access permissions to meet your specific security and data reporting needs.
