Diesel generator sets are power generation equipment primarily fueled by diesel, utilizing diesel engines as the prime mover to drive generators (also known as dynamos) for electricity production, converting kinetic energy into electrical and thermal energy. The complete diesel generator set is mainly divided into three parts:
Diesel engine.
2. Generator (i.e., electrical ball).
3. Controller.
In detail, the components include the base, diesel engine, base fuel tank, generator set (also known as the electric ball), controller (which controls and protects the set), radiator (air-cooled: fan; water-cooled: water tank), and soundproof enclosures, among others. To meet varying local requirements, we categorize generator sets into fixed and mobile trailer types. To reduce noise emitted by the generator set and minimize disruption to work and life, designers have developed silent enclosures for generator sets. This involves installing a metal box externally with sound-absorbing material inside to protect the generator set. The box features doors for easy maintenance and control. The soundproof enclosures not only lower the noise but can also be placed outdoors, serving as a shelter from sun and rain, eliminating the need for a dedicated machine room. Diesel generator sets are divided into regular and backup types, with power ratings corresponding to regular and backup power. The standard regular power of each generator set is typically 80% of the backup power. For regular use, rely on the national grid; use the backup diesel generator set only when power is out. For extended operation, opt for the regular diesel generator set, which can operate for over 300 days a year with regular maintenance. The relationship between regular and backup power is as follows: if a user needs a 100KW diesel generator set, the regular power of a 100KW backup set would be 100KW * 80% = 80KW. That is, the regular power of a 100KW backup diesel generator set is 80KW. If a soundproof enclosure is added to the diesel generator set, the power rating will typically decrease by about 10%. Therefore, when purchasing a diesel generator set, users should consider the power reduction due to the soundproof enclosure.
Features:
● Engine performance is stable and reliable
●Low fuel consumption, low emissions, low noise
● The diesel generator set features a rotating diesel filter, engine oil filter, and dry air filter.
● Engine assembly is wear-resistant, compactly structured, and easy to operate.
