Polyurethane Foam Insulation Installation Methods and Steps
1. Basic Processing
Prior to construction, any remaining debris on the walls should be thoroughly cleaned. If the wall has a vertical deviation greater than 10mm, use 1:3 cement砂浆 to level it.
Prior to large-area spray application, control lines should be hung to ensure the thickness and verticality of the insulation layer.
(3) Protect non-coated items such as windows and doors with plastic film.
2. Apply moisture-proof polyurethane primer
Apply polyurethane moisture-proof primer using a roller, ensuring even and consistent thickness without any missed spots or buildup.

Insulation layer installation
Polyurethane coatings should be applied in multiple layers, with each layer not exceeding 10mm in thickness, achieving the desired thickness of the polyurethane insulation layer through successive applications.
(2) For the阴阳 corner sections, aluminum alloy rulers are used to mask and directly spray paint to create right angles.
(3) After 20 minutes of applying the insulation coating, use tools such as paper cutters, hand saws, etc., to clean and trim the obscured and protected areas, as well as any protrusions exceeding the controlled thickness by the plumb line.
4. Interface Handling
After passing the inspection and acceptance, the surface砂浆 treatment for the thermal insulation coating should be carried out within 4 hours. The surface砂浆 can be evenly applied to the rigid foam polyurethane insulation layer using a roller.
Insulation Foam Polyurethane: Precautions for Use
The exterior surface of the building must be free of dirt, oil stains, moisture, and unevenness. If necessary, cleaning, clearing, and removal should be carried out first.
During construction, pay attention to the environmental temperature and wall surface temperature. Generally, the suitable temperature range is 10~35°C; temperatures that are too high or too low can cause excessive loss of foaming agents, while also affecting the foaming effect.
Before construction, apply a polyurethane moisture-proof primer first to eliminate the effects of water and moisture. Construction is prohibited during rain.

When wind speeds exceed level 4, construction is not advisable. Firstly, excessive heat loss during the foaming process leads to significant raw material waste and increased costs. Secondly, the atomized droplets during spraying are easily carried away by the wind, causing environmental pollution.
5. After the polyurethane foam spray is applied, the surface treatment can be done approximately 0.5 hours later, which involves applying the interface mortar. It is generally recommended not to exceed 4 hours for applying the interface mortar.
