2. Working Principle:

The butterfly valve's disc-shaped butterfly plate (consisting of two symmetrical discs) features a pivot shaft installed at each side on the bottom plate of the disc-shaped seat, perpendicular to the axis line and integrated with the disc-shaped seat. The opening and closing action is achieved by rotating the handwheel or handle, which turns the driving ring inward and rotates the disc-shaped seat as a unit.
