Injection Molding Waste Gas Treatment Methods

The commonly used process in the production and processing of plastic products is injection molding. Injection molding involves forcing molten plastic into a mold under pressure, where it cools and solidifies to form the desired plastic components. During the heating and molding process, injection molding waste gas is produced, and the uncontrolled emission of this gas can affect human health and, over time, pollute the environment. Zhongxin suggests considering the following waste gas treatment processes for injection molding machines:

Composite equipment, featuring a multi-layer filtration system + photo-oxidation catalytic equipment + oxidation bed, the combination of these three ensures the treated exhaust gas meets the corresponding emission standards while extending the service life of the oxidation bed and reducing the operational costs of exhaust gas treatment.

Principles of Zhongxin Industry Equipment

Firstly, the multi-layered special filtration system filters out dust particles of various sizes, reducing the load on the backend. Then, by using vacuum ultraviolet to break the chemical bonds of organic waste gas molecules, they are decomposed into free atoms or groups, while the oxygen in the mixed air is also split into free oxygen atoms, which then combine to form ozone. The ozone reacts with the atoms generated from the decomposition of organic waste gas molecules, breaking down harmful gases. After passing through the oxidation bed, the gases are further oxidized and meet the emission standards. The equipment employs a dry filtration and purification oxidation method, does not use water, and does not produce secondary pollution. The equipment occupies minimal space, is ready for use at any time, and is energy-saving and environmentally friendly.
