The FTS Electric Retractable Awning System is a fabric sunshade designed specifically for large-span skylights. The electric sunshade system, controlled by an electronic box, uses the motor's forward and reverse rotation to retract and extend the fabric, achieving the sunshade effect.
Work Method
The "auxiliary" motor acts as a brake during system operation. The electronic control box outputs an adjustable voltage, causing the motor's two coils to short circuit. The voltage range is 40V~130VAC, which can be controlled by a potentiometer. The main motor is operated through a switch to move the system forward. At this point, the auxiliary motor's brake is released, but it generates a reverse pulling force to balance the system. The system stops by issuing a stop command or reaching the limit. The final tension is achieved by the control box, which stops and holds the main motor while also reversing the auxiliary motor to obtain the final tension, thereby tensioning the system's fabric.
Features:FTS canopy curtains have high tension, so when selecting the fabric, the fabric's tensile and tear resistance must be considered. Generally, imported high-strength fabric is chosen.
Control Method:Manual switch control, wireless remote control, group control, compatible with multimedia central control systems; for large public areas, timer, light control, wind control, and other intelligent controls can also be set.

Technical Requirements
We recommend that the width of a single panel not exceed 3 meters, and the length not exceed 12 meters. The system can be designed as a two-panel or three-panel configuration. For specific details, please consult our professional technical staff.
Product Applications
FTS electric roller shades are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. For outdoor use, a rain cover is required to prevent the motor from being shortened in lifespan due to dirt, moisture, or showering.
FTS Electric Roof Shading Screens are best used outdoors with sun and wind sensors and an automatic controller to achieve automated operation and set wind pressure values. These screens can be made into rectangular, triangular, or trapezoidal FTS shading curtains to meet various shading needs. They are suitable for flat or arched glass domes.
