What safety precautions should be taken during the grouting reinforcement construction process?
2025-02-26
During the grouting reinforcement construction process, to ensure personnel safety and the smooth progress of the project, the following safety precautions should be noted:
Construction Site and Equipment Safety
Site Clearance and Protection: Ensure the site is level and solid prior to construction, removing any obstacles and hazards. Set up clear warning signs and protective fencing to prevent unauthorized access to the construction area.
Equipment Inspection and Maintenance: Conduct comprehensive inspections and adjustments of grouting equipment (such as grouting pumps, mixers, drilling machines, etc.) to ensure optimal performance and proper operation. Regularly maintain and service the equipment, promptly replacing worn parts to prevent equipment failures that could lead to safety accidents.
Electrical Safety: Electrical equipment on construction sites must comply with safety standards and be equipped with leakage protection devices. Wires and cables should be suspended or buried to prevent crushing, damage, and leakage. Electricians must be certified and regularly inspect electrical equipment and circuits to ensure safe electrical use.
Materials and Slurry Safety
Material Storage and Management: Slurry materials such as cement and water glass should be stored properly to prevent dampness and spoilage. Chemical slurries and other hazardous substances must be stored and managed in accordance with relevant regulations. A dedicated storage area should be established, equipped with fire-resistant, explosion-proof, and toxicant-prevention safety facilities.
Safety in Slurry Preparation: Always follow the operating procedures strictly when preparing slurry, wear appropriate protective gear (such as protective gloves, goggles, etc.) to prevent splashes from contacting the skin and eyes. In case of accidental contact, rinse thoroughly with plenty of water and seek medical attention promptly.
Drilling and Grouting Operations Safety
Safety in Drilling Operations: Operators must strictly adhere to drilling rig operating procedures to prevent the rig from tilting or collapsing during drilling. Pay attention to the stratum conditions during drilling and immediately halt drilling if any anomalies are detected (such as water gushing or borehole collapse), and take appropriate measures for handling.
Grouting Operation Safety: Control the grouting pressure and speed during the grouting process to prevent pipe破裂 or ground heave due to excessive pressure. Operators should not stand directly in front of the grouting hole to avoid injury from the grout being ejected. In case of equipment failure, shut off the grouting pump and valves first before conducting repairs.
Prevent Cross-Flow and Overflow: During the grouting process, closely monitor the adjacent grouting holes to prevent cross-flow occurrences. In case of cross-flow, take immediate sealing measures. For potential overflow situations, prepare protective measures in advance, such as setting up cofferdams, to avoid grout contamination of the environment or other safety hazards.
Employee Safety and Emergency Measures
Employees Training and Certification: Construction workers must undergo professional safety training, familiarize themselves with construction techniques and safety operation procedures, and obtain certification upon passing the assessment before being allowed to work. Specialized workers (such as electricians, welders, drilling machine operators, etc.) are required to hold the corresponding specialized operation permits.
Workers should wear personal protective equipment, such as helmets, work uniforms, work boots, and gloves, during operations. In poorly ventilated areas, they should also wear a gas mask or air respirator.
Emergency Response Plan: Establish comprehensive emergency response plans, equip with necessary emergency supplies and equipment such as fire extinguishers, first-aid kits, stretchers, etc. Regularly organize emergency response drills to enhance the ability of construction personnel to handle emergencies. In the event of an accident, the emergency response plan should be immediately activated, and timely rescue operations should be organized to minimize casualties and property damage.
