SMD Fuse Manufacturer Teaches You About SMD Fuses
There are four basic types of surface mount fuses:
(1) Slow-blow or time-delay fuses
(2) Dual-alloy slow-blow fuse wire
Quick-acting fuse
(4) Rapid Response Fuses
Slow-blow fuses are particularly suitable for circuits containing momentary current spikes or inrush currents upon startup. Such circuits include motors, transformers, incandescent lamps, and applicable load devices.
The quick-acting fuse responds rapidly and is suitable for circuits without sudden current surges.
Fast-acting fuses typically use silver for their connections. Due to the current-limiting capabilities of surface mount fuses, they are often used to protect semiconductor circuits.
