Diving Salvage, Diving Sealing, Pipeline Sealing

According to the recommendation of the Tianjin pipeline plugging engineer, before the underground drainage pipeline is installed and concealed, a water filling (flow) test must be conducted to prevent leakage at the joints, ensuring the pipeline installation is tight.
In the past, water filling tests often used methods like using mortar, bricks, or wooden plugs to seal the drainage outlets, which were labor-intensive, time-consuming, material-wasting, and had poor sealing effects, often leading to leaks due to the inability to properly seal. Nowadays, some also opt for methods like using steel plates with spacers or manually cutting pipes with a steel saw.

The aforementioned methods have not yielded satisfactory results. Now, I introduce a Tianjin pipeline plugging method, which involves using a rubber ball to seal the pipe opening. The specific procedure is as follows.
Select a rubber ball with a diameter 10-15mm larger than the inner diameter of the pipe's outlet. Release some of the air inside the ball, then place the ball with its inflation valve facing outward into the pipe opening, ensuring it is inserted no more than 10mm from the pipe's mouth. Insert an air needle into the ball and inflate it with an air tube.
