Integrate trees, shrubs, grasses, and vines; plant trees deeply, shrubs and grasses shallowly, ground-covers at the bottom, climbing plants on top, to create a rich plant community structure while meeting the needs of plant growth. Combine deciduous and evergreen plants; combine deep-rooted and shallow-rooted plants; blend local and overall effects; integrate landscaping with garden landscapes; harmonize landscaping with partially exposed areas; and pay attention to the resistance and adaptability of plants.
