(1) Inspected the evaporator; the surface condensation water was evenly distributed, indicating no blockages.
(2) Inspection of the condenser also revealed no significant temperature differences between the pipes, indicating that the condenser is also free of blockages.;
(3) The compressor automatically shuts down after operating for a period, while the fan and control system function normally.
(4) Inspected the compressor's overheating protection; no abnormal operation detected.
(5) The estimated cause is a compressor failure, triggered by the activation of the compressor's protective device, leading to an automatic shutdown. Inspection revealed that the winding resistance of the compressor at the moment of shutdown was different from the resistance when the compressor was cold.
Repair Method: Replaced with a new compressor, the dehumidification function has returned to normal. The original compressor, due to unstable winding resistance, experienced rapid temperature rise upon power-on, triggering the internal protector and causing the compressor to repeatedly shut down automatically, thus preventing normal dehumidification. The increased internal resistance also led to higher power consumption.
