PE storage tanks are ideal containers for storing corrosive chemicals, solutions at room temperature, and more. When transporting them, be mindful of the following points:
1. The PE storage tank equipment must not be stacked on other objects to prevent uneven stress on the structural parts and inside of the plastic storage tank equipment.
2. To prevent uncontrolled swinging during the lifting of the PE storage tank equipment, a guiding rope should be tied to the position at the top of the tank for swapping.
3. Be cautious during operation to prevent tools, scaffolding, or other sharp objects from impacting the plastic storage tank equipment. Operators entering the PE storage tank should wear soft-soled shoes. When using ladders, extend all parts that come into contact with the plastic anti-corrosion equipment to prevent surface scratches or excessive localized loading.
4. When hoisting PE tank equipment, it is recommended to use a high-tensile strap or hoisting rope (diameter over 25mm) at the tank lifting ring. When adjusting the tank position with a forklift or crane, it is suggested to use forks with soft pads.
