Product Introduction
Fluidized Bed Media, also known as MBBR media, is used in aerobic biological fluidized bed processes. The MBBR media features a three-dimensional hollow structure as an aerobic biological carrier, with the media suspended in water during normal operation. Anaerobic bacteria grow within the media, initiating denitrification to remove nitrogen; aerobic bacteria grow on the surface to remove organic matter. Both nitrification and denitrification occur simultaneously throughout the treatment process. The MBBR process technology is characterized by high volumetric loading, allowing for a reduction in pond volume.
Product Features
The biological formation takes 3 to 15 days, no prior bacterial culture required.
