Product Overview
Fluidized Bed Media, also known as MBBR media, is used in aerobic biological fluidized bed processes. The MBBR media features a three-dimensional hollow structure as an aerobic biological carrier, with the media suspended in water during normal operation. Anaerobic bacteria grow within the media, causing denitrification to remove nitrogen; aerobic bacteria grow on the outside to remove organic matter. The entire treatment process involves both nitrification and denitrification. The MBBR process technology has the characteristic of high volume load, thus reducing the pool volume for the MBBR process.
