Product Introduction

Fluidized Bed Media, also known as MBBR media, is used in aerobic biological fluidized bed processes. The MBBR media features a three-dimensional hollow structure as an aerobic biological carrier, with the media suspended in water during normal operation. Anaerobic bacteria grow within the media, leading to denitrification for nitrogen removal; aerobic bacteria grow on the surface to remove organic matter. The entire treatment process involves both nitrification and denitrification. The MBBR process technology is characterized by high volume load, allowing for reduced pond volume.
