Product Introduction
Fluidized Bed Media, also known as MBBR media, is used in aerobic biological fluidized bed processes. The MBBR media features a three-dimensional hollow structure as an aerobic biological carrier, with the media suspended in water during normal operation. Anaerobic bacteria grow within the media, producing denitrification to remove nitrogen; aerobic bacteria grow on the surface to remove organic matter. The entire treatment process involves both nitrification and denitrification. The MBBR media process technology is characterized by high volumetric loading, thus reducing the pool volume required for the MBBR process.
