Flat Plate Bubble Diffusers are a new type of aeration device developed in the 1980s. This device features small bubble diameters, small gas-liquid interface diameters, and a large gas-liquid interface area, resulting in even bubble diffusion without clogging. It is highly corrosion-resistant. It has been tested for oxygenation of clean and wastewater by the School of Environmental Engineering at Tongji University in Shanghai and the North China Design Institute of Municipal Engineering, and has been used effectively by over 50 customers for many years (reducing energy consumption by 40% compared to conventional fixed spiral diffusers, spray diffusers, and perforated pipe diffusers, or increasing wastewater treatment capacity by 40%). It is particularly suitable for new and expanded urban wastewater treatment plants and large factory aeration pond renovations, and the aeration pond can operate intermittently.
