Flat membrane aeration disks are a new type of aeration device developed in the 1980s. This device produces small aeration bubbles with a small gas-liquid interface diameter and a large gas-liquid interface area, ensuring even bubble diffusion without clogging. It is highly corrosion-resistant. It has undergone oxygenation tests with clean and wastewater at Shanghai Tongji University's School of Environmental Engineering and China's North China Municipal Engineering Design Institute. After more than 50 years of use by various customers, it has proven to be effective (reducing energy consumption by 40% compared to conventional fixed spiral aeration disks, diffuser aeration disks, and perforated pipe aeration disks, or increasing wastewater treatment capacity by 40%).
