Flat Disc Aerator is a new aeration device developed in the 1980s. It features small bubble diameter, small gas-liquid interface diameter, large gas-liquid interface area, even bubble diffusion, no clogging holes, and strong corrosion resistance. It has undergone oxygenation tests for both clean water and wastewater by the Environmental Engineering College of Tongji University in Shanghai and the North China Branch of the China Municipal Engineering Design Institute, and has been performing well for over 50 users for many years (reducing energy consumption by 40% compared to conventional fixed spiral aerators, diffused aerators, and perforated pipe aerators, or increasing wastewater treatment capacity by 40%). It is particularly suitable for new and expanded urban wastewater treatment plants and large-scale factory aeration pond renovations, and the aeration pond can operate intermittently.
