AbstractTo keep pace with the rapid development of society and meet the new demands in the evolving environment, the power supply network has proposed new requirements. The outdated method of using a single distribution room and manual monitoring of power supply conditions is no longer suitable for the current reality. The design, development, and application of a comprehensive intelligent monitoring system for distribution rooms have become an inevitable trend. The design and application of the distribution room intelligent monitoring system need to achieve three goals: to implement electronic intelligent monitoring, ensuring that the distribution room does not require manual surveillance or minimal staffing, thereby reducing personnel while increasing efficiency; to integrate with the five-remote system for real-time monitoring to enhance work efficiency and ensure stable power supply; and to build an intelligent power management system based on this system to provide information and data for effective power management. This article discusses the necessity of developing a distribution room intelligent monitoring system, the system design framework, and its application.
