Technical Characteristics of Gas 1. Non-Interference Encapsulation: The detector is housed within a explosion-proof metallic casing. The casing features a glass-covered lid that is spun on. The magnetic programming button on the transmitter panel can be operated with a handheld magnetic programming tool, ensuring non-interference during sensor interface operations. Calibration and on-site adjustments can be performed without opening the lid, maintaining the original site condition. 2. Easy Calibration: Calibration prompts are displayed on the backlit LCD screen, greatly simplifying the calibration process. Technicians can simply start the calibration program using a magnetic programming tool. Once the calibration program is initiated, the detector displays the calibration menu, offering two options: Zero Calibration and Span Calibration. Selecting ZERO initiates the automatic zeroing function. After calibration is complete, the display will return to the calibration menu. Selecting SPAN starts the automatic span calibration, prompting the user to input the gas type and its concentration for the detector. Once the gas is provided, the detector begins automatic span calibration. After the signal stabilizes, the detector records the starting data and prompts the operator to disconnect the gas source. Once the gas concentration returns to zero, the detector automatically resumes its normal operation. If the detector is unable to perform the calibration program for any reason, an error message will be displayed. This program requires minimal time and is almost error-free. 3. Signal Output: The infrared gas sensor has two types of signal outputs: an analog 4-20mA output and an RS-485 data bus output. The other option only has a 4-20mA output. The output signal is a 4-20mA linear analog signal related to the detection range. This signal is compatible with the 10 series and 12 series multi-module controllers, programmable logic controllers, and other standard data acquisition devices. The analog output also has two other functions. When entering the calibration menu, the 4-20mA signal drops to 2mA. This low current will remain until the sensor returns to normal operation. In case of an error, the 4-20mA signal drops to 0mA, and this condition will persist until the error state is resolved. Changes in these output signals can be used by external devices to identify and record the sensor's operating status. Prevent gas explosions and safeguard your family's safety to avoid any threats to your and your family's life, health, and property. Proper gas usage brings numerous safety benefits to our lives. That's all for the introduction on how to use gas and its technical characteristics. We hope this information helps you in your daily use.
