"Standard Training for Operators of Mobile Elevating Work Platforms"

General Requirements
"Mobile Elevating Work Platform Operator Training: The national standard with the code GB/T 27549-2011 specifies the following requirements for training and operator authorization:"
(1) Only appropriately trained and authorized personnel are permitted to operate aerial work platforms.
(2) The administrator of the aerial work vehicle is responsible for training operators, supervising the training of operators, or certifying that operators have received training in accordance with this standard.
Section II: Training Program
1. Basic Training Content
Please train the staff according to the following content:
(1) Select an appropriate aerial work vehicle.
(2) Operator's manual, warnings, operating instructions, and security rules established by administrators.
(3) Pre-startup inspection
(4) Factors Affecting Stability
Common Hazards and How to Avoid Them
(6) Workplace Inspections
(7) Common knowledge of all uses and functions of aerial work vehicle controls, including emergency controls.
(8) Use of personnel protection devices applicable to tasks, workplaces, and environments.
(9) Safe Operation
Transportation (if applicable)
Ensure the crane is used only with proper authorization.
Use of Faulty Elevated Work Platforms
Actual operation of aerial work vehicles.
2. Pre-job training for operation staff should include:
Before being authorized to operate designated high-altitude work, operators should be guided by qualified personnel and familiarize themselves with the following:
Manufacturer Warnings and Instructions
Specify the corresponding control functions of the elevated work vehicle.
Identify all safety device functions of the elevated work platform.
III. Training Management
General requirements
(1) A trainer should be someone with an acknowledged degree, certification, professional status, or relevant knowledge, who has undergone professional training organized by equipment manufacturers or industry educational institutions, and is experienced. They should be able to effectively demonstrate their ability to solve complex problems encountered in tasks, work, or projects.
(2) Trainees should demonstrate their theoretical knowledge and proficiency in practical operations to the assessors to prove their abilities.
(3) Preserve Records
(4) The operation records of the elevated work platform for trained personnel should be retained.
1) Certificates of Training Completion that meet these standards should be issued to qualified trainees.
2) The training validity period should be reflected.

(2) Familiarize yourself with the rules to minimize electrical shock risks.
(3) Proficient in determining load limits.

(5) Proficient in selecting aerial work platforms based on rated load, working height, and working conditions.
(6) Familiarize with stability and usage guidelines.
