Uo: Rated voltage between conductors used in cable design and ground or metallic shielding.

Rated voltage between conductors for cable design; the rated voltage of the cable should be suitable for the operating conditions of the system in which the cable is located. For ease of cable selection, the system is divided into the following three categories: - Category A: Any phase conductor can be separated from the system within 1 minute when it comes into contact with ground or grounded conductor. - Category B: Can operate for a short period during a single-phase grounding fault. According to JB/T8996, the grounding fault duration should not exceed 1 hour. For cables covered by this standard, a longer fault-tolerant operating time is allowed, but it should not exceed 8 hours under any circumstances. The total grounding fault duration per year should not exceed 125 hours. - Category C: Includes systems that do not belong to Category A or B.
