How is the outdoor防腐木 construction process?
2024-04-17
Pine Forest, with years of production and construction experience, is here to answer your questions:
(1) Fixed laying method: Secure the joists to the ground using expansion screws or galvanized angle brackets. The expansion screws should be galvanized for better aging resistance. Then, connect and lay the joists to the front of the corrosion-resistant wood using stainless steel cross-head screws.
(2) Event Layout
1) Arrange the ground joists in an orderly manner, then connect them to the joists using stainless steel cross screws on the front of the weather-resistant wood.
2) The frame is secured to the reverse side of the weather-resistant wood using screws, with several pieces assembled into a single unit. This method does not damage the ground structure and allows for easy disassembly and cleaning.
(3) The floating laying method involves leveling the joists on the ground to form a framework or a cross-grid structure, followed by the installation of anti-corrosive wood.
(4) Treatment of Wooden Substructure: During design and construction, adequate air circulation between the anti-corrosion wood and the ground should be maintained to effectively extend the lifespan of the wooden substructure.
When manufacturing and installing treated wood, a gap of 0.2-1CM should be left between the pieces (the size of the gap should be determined based on the moisture content of the wood; it's advisable not to exceed 0.8CM when the moisture content is over 30%, to prevent water accumulation during rain and expansion of the treated wood.)
To minimize cracking in square columns thicker than 50mm or 90mm, a groove should be cut in the center of the backside.
(6) Hardware components made of stainless steel, hot-dipped galvanized, or copper (primarily to prevent future rust and corrosion, which may affect the strength of connections) should be pre-drilled during installation to avoid cracking of the anti-corrosion wood.
(7) Opt for existing sizes and shapes as much as possible; the damaged parts should be coated with anti-corrosion agent and outdoor protective paint. Since the anti-corrosion wood is a semi-finished product, rough areas can be sanded once more after the wood moisture content drops below 20%, if desired. For an even better finish, apply outdoor protective paint after thoroughly cleaning the surface (if colored protective paint is used, it should be well mixed). Avoid construction during rainy or cloudy weather.
(8) After applying the surface protective coating or paint, to achieve the best results, avoid foot traffic or moving heavy objects for 48 hours to prevent damaging the protective film formed on the preservative-treated wood surface. For an enhanced dirt resistance, an additional specialized outdoor wood oil treatment may be applied to the surface as needed.
(9) Due to the unique nature of use in outdoor environments, anti-corrosion wood may exhibit cracks and slight deformations, which are normal and do not affect its anti-corrosion properties or structural integrity.
(10) General outdoor wood protective coatings are渗透型的, forming a protective layer within the wood fibers that effectively prevents water from侵蚀木材. Cleaning can be done with regular detergents, and brushes can be used for the tools.
(11) Perform maintenance every 1 to 2 years; simply repaint with specialized wood water-based or oil-based paint.
