Flexible Tube Bottle
Details Introduction
A drawn tube bottle is a type of packaging bottle made by drawing glass or plastic tubes through a specific process. It is widely used in industries such as pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and food. Below is a detailed introduction to it:
Material
Glass Materials: Common types include borosilicate glass and soda-lime glass. Borosilicate glass boasts excellent thermal resistance, withstanding temperature differences of -30℃ to 400℃, and has strong chemical stability, resistant to acids and alkalis, and corrosion. It is suitable for packaging materials that require high temperature and chemical stability, such as laboratory reagents and high-end cosmetics. Soda-lime glass is relatively cost-effective, with high transparency, allowing clear display of contents, and is commonly used for packaging ordinary cosmetics, perfumes, and essential oils.
Plastic Materials: Including PP (polypropylene) and PET, etc. PP is lightweight, easy to process, and has excellent chemical and thermal resistance. "One-touch open" PP extrusion bottles are widely used in the healthy beverage market; PET, with high transparency and good mechanical strength, as well as excellent barrier properties, is commonly used for packaging liquid cosmetics, food sauces, and more.
Exterior Design
Color: Glass pull-push bottles are available in a variety of colors including transparent, amber, blue, green, and gradient. The transparent models have a light transmission rate of ≥90%, while the amber models have a light transmission rate of ≤30%, effectively blocking UV rays to protect light-sensitive contents. Plastic pull-push bottles also come in a rich selection of colors and can be customized according to brand requirements.
Shape: The most common is the cylindrical shape, which is easy to hold and fill, with a relatively simple production process; square pull-tab bottles are also available, featuring a simple and generous appearance, space-saving, and often used for cosmetic and perfume packaging; in addition, there are irregular pull-tab bottles designed for special needs, such as heart-shaped or animal-shaped ones, which are more suitable for creative products or limited edition items.
Bottle neck design
Threaded Neck: Tight thread connection for good sealing, compatible with various types of lids such as electroplated metal lids and plastic lids. It also facilitates the installation of accessories like droppers and spray nozzles. Ideal for products requiring frequent use and high sealing, such as essential oils and serums.
Closures: These closures, when paired with bottle caps or stoppers, offer a simple operation and are commonly used in packaging that requires quick opening and closing, such as oral liquid bottles and vials. This bottle mouth design ensures that the cap or stopper remains securely fastened during use, preventing any leakage of contents.
Lift-Top: Bottles equipped with a dedicated flip-top lid for easy opening, suitable for single-use or frequently accessed products, such as certain pharmaceuticals and food packaging. The lift-top design typically features a structure on the lid that is easy to lift, allowing consumers to easily open the bottle and remove the contents.
Production Process
Glass Blowing Bottles: Initially, the glass tube material is heated to a softened state. It is then stretched through precise blowing techniques to form the initial shape and size of the bottle. Subsequently, the bottleneck is flame polished to achieve a smooth and flat surface, ensuring airtightness. Finally, surface treatments such as vacuum electroplating, UV coating, silk-screen hot stamping, and laser engraving can be applied according to customer requirements, enhancing the bottle's aesthetics and brand identity.
Plastic extruded tube bottles: Generally produced through the extrusion tube process, where plastic pellets are heated and melted, then extruded into tubes by an extruder. These tubes are then stretched and shaped to form the bottle body. Subsequent injection molding is used to create the bottle mouth and cap, which are assembled using assembly techniques. Surface decoration such as printing and film lamination can also be applied to enhance the visual appeal of the plastic extruded tube bottles.
