Magnetic Particle Inspection Performance Evaluation Device

These magnetic particle testing blocks/plates help you assess the performance of magnetic particle inspection, ensuring compliance with your testing process. They can be used to check for magnetic particle degradation, compare the performance of different magnetic particles, measure sensitivity or visibility, and confirm the direction and strength of the magnetic field.


Magnetic Field Indicator

Versatile indicator for detecting the intensity levels and direction of the magnetic field during magnetic particle inspection. Each indicator features three equally deep milled grooves, measuring 0.0075 inches, 0.009 inches, and 0.010 inches wide.

The indicator is composed of two brass plates and a magnetic steel sandwiched between them. Designed for repeatedly setting and monitoring magnetic field intensity in both wet and dry magnetic particle inspections.

American Flux Quantization Quality Test Strip (QQI) is a standard magnetic particle inspection test strip with artificial defects, used to determine the direction and corresponding intensity of the magnetic field, and can also be used to balance multi-directional magnetic fields, reducing the number of magnetization cycles to the minimum, thereby improving production efficiency. Each package contains 5 QQI test strips.



Tool steel annular test block

The tool steel ring specimen features 12 through-holes, simulating different depths of subsurface defects. When the actual workpiece being tested does not have corresponding defects, it provides a reliable method to verify the performance of the magnetic particle inspection system.

Standard QQI Test Sheet #KSC-230

Artificial defects are in the form of circular and cruciform stripes, suitable for longitudinal and circumferential magnetic fields. The defect depth is 30% of the sample thickness, with the sample thickness being 0.002 inches (0.05 mm).


Small QQ I Sample Sheet #KSC-4-230

Similar to KSC-230, designed for small areas on workpieces, each piece features four circles, which can be cut apart and used individually. The defect depth is 30% of the specimen thickness, with the specimen thickness being 0.002 inches (0.05 mm).


Standard QQI Test Sheet #KSC-430

Artificial defects are in the form of circular and cruciform strips, suitable for both longitudinal and circumferential magnetic fields. The defect depth is 30% of the specimen thickness, with the specimen thickness being 0.004 inches (0.1 mm).
