(2) Saves a significant amount of valuable and rare metal materials used in the production of thermocouples. (3) Utilizing compensating conductors facilitates installation and laying of the cables. (4) Replacing thermocouple wires with thicker diameters and higher conductivity can reduce the resistance in the thermocouple circuit, benefiting measurement and automatic control. When using compensating conductors, note the following points: (1) Various compensating cables can only be used with corresponding thermocouple models; that is, the thermoelectric properties of various thermocouples and their matching compensating cables must be identical within the specified temperature range (0~100℃). (2) The temperature at the compensation wire and thermocouple connection point must not exceed the specified operating temperature. (3) When compensating wires and thermocouples are connected to instruments, the positive and negative poles must not be reversed, and the two sets of connection points must be at the same temperature. (4) Select the wire gauge of the compensating wire based on the circuit resistance requirements of the instrumentation.
