ZA-KX-FVRP flame-retardant cable high-temperature instrument temperature compensation wire 1. Detailed Explanation of Thermocouple Compensation Wire, Structure and Definition: Thermocouple compensation wire, commonly referred to as compensation wire, is typically composed of alloy wire, insulation, sheath, and shielding layer. Within a certain temperature range (including room temperature), it consists of a pair of insulated wires with a nominal electromotive force (EMF) identical to that of the matched thermocouple. These wires are used to connect the thermocouple to the measuring device to compensate for the temperature variations at the connection point with the thermocouple, thus reducing errors. Two, using compensating cables between thermocouples and measuring devices offers two advantages: 1. Enhance the physical and mechanical properties of thermocouple temperature measurement lines by using multi-strand cores or small-diameter compensating conductors, which can increase the flexibility of the lines, facilitate wiring, and also adjust line resistance or shield external interference. 2. Reduce the cost of measuring lines. When the thermocouple is far from the measuring device, using compensation wires can save a significant amount of thermocouple material, especially when using precious metal thermocouples, the economic benefits are more pronounced. Section 3: Terms and Symbols (1) Extended Compensation Wire: The extended compensation wire, also known as the extended wire, has the same nominal chemical composition of the alloy wire and the nominal electromotive force as the thermocouple it is paired with. It is indicated by the letter "X" appended after the thermocouple type number, e.g., "KX" indicates an extended compensation wire for a K-type thermocouple. (2) Compensation Compensation Wire: Also known as compensation wire, the nominal chemical composition of the alloy wire in the compensation wire is different from that of the thermocouple it is paired with. However, its electromotive force value is the same as the nominal value of the electromotive force of the paired thermocouple at 0-100℃ or 0-200℃. It is indicated by the letter "C" appended after the thermocouple type number, such as "KC". Different alloy wires can be applied to the same type number of thermocouples and distinguished by additional letters, such as "KCA", "KCB". Currently, it is not widely used. (3) Allowance: The tolerance of the thermocouple compensation wire is due to the significant deviation caused by the compensation wire in the measurement system. This value is expressed in microvolts, and the tolerance is divided into two levels: precision and standard. (4) Symbols: S - indicates precision grade thermocouple compensation wire. No letter is marked for general grade compensation wire; G - indicates general use compensation wire; H - indicates heat-resistant compensation wire; R - indicates compensation wire with multi-strand core. No letter is marked for single-strand core compensation wire; P - indicates compensation wire with a shielding layer; B - indicates jacket made of non-glass fiber material. Other shielding type models only require changing the shielding code, such as adding "ZR" before the model number for flame-retardant type P2, P3, adding "22" after the armor cable model number, ZR192 is imported PFA material, with a temperature resistance of 260°C.
