UG CNC Programming Stage Learning Content:

I. Basic Course:

3. Cavity Milling: Commonly used for roughing out workpieces, learn to choose the right tools wisely when the workpiece sizes vary. Cavity milling generally uses a cutting path that follows the contours, with emphasis on setting and mastering the main parameters.

4. Re-clearing the corners with the cavity milling: Mainly for processing the excess material left after rough cutting with the upper tool; setting and mastering the main parameters.

5. Equal Contour Milling: Often used for precision finishing of workpiece sides. When selecting tools, choose a reasonable one based on the size of the R-radius at the bottom of the workpiece. Main parameter settings and mastery, example explanation, and combined with topic practice.

6. Curved Milling: Commonly used for the precision finishing of workpiece surfaces, usually opting for ball-end mills for curved milling. Focuses on the setup and mastery of key parameters, with example problems explained and combined with practical exercises related to the topic.

7. Hole Machining: Applications of G81 and G83.

Section 3: Factory Case Study:

1. Electrode Processing: Gain proficiency through multiple electrode examples and practice, mastering the electrode processing and fixture techniques. Pay attention to special considerations for processing electrodes with extreme dimensions, such as ultra-high and ultra-thin electrodes.

2. Mold Frame Machining: Proficient in mold frame machining processes, experienced in handling large-scale mold frames.

3. Mold Core Machining: Understanding of common mold core materials, knowledge of mold heat treatment processes, control of stock allowance before heat treatment for mold cores, and precautions when machining the mating surfaces of front and back mold cores.

4. Comprehensive Molding Processing: Mastery of key considerations for the entire molding processing, integrating the common processing flow of molds in the factory and the department's processing procedures.

5. Product Processing: Process considerations and parameter settings during product processing.
