UG Mold Design Phase Learning Content:

2. Explanation of 3D software commands, product shaping, product analysis, DFM creation, export mold standards, and application of 3D auxiliary modules.

3. Mold Structure Explanation (mold types, toggle, slides, threading, N-time parting, etc.), demolding steps, product rational modifications, product parting surface construction, demolding techniques, full 3D, complete 2D assembly drawings.

4. Provide CAD assembly drawings and UG assembly drawings; compile BOM with 0 pieces for ordering.

5. Comprehensive intensive training, where students design according to the factory's design process, with instructors organizing evaluations and summaries.

UG CNC Programming Stage Learning Content:

I. Basic Course:

1. UG Installation and Interface Setup (UG Sketch Examples Explained) 2. Basic UG Modeling Commands 3. UG Curve Applications 4. UG Solid Modeling 5. UG Surface Patch Techniques 6. Product Instance Explanation 7. UG Machining Module and Engineering Drawing Tutorial 8. Assembly and Automatic Parting

II. Basic Applications of UG Machining Module:

1. Face Milling: Familiar with the application of face milling, cutting methods, and the setting of key parameters

2. Planer Milling: Know the application, classification, cutting methods for different workpieces, and the setting of main parameters, and master them.

3. Cavity Milling: Often used for roughing out workpieces, learn to choose the right tooling when the workpiece varies in size. Cavity milling generally employs a cutting path that follows the periphery, focusing on setting and mastering the key parameters.

4. Cavity milling for reaming corners: Primarily focuses on processing the excess material left after rough cutting with the first set of tools; setting and mastering key parameters.

5. Equal Contour Milling: Often used for precise finishing of workpiece sides. When selecting tools, choose a reasonable tool based on the size of the R-radius at the bottom of the workpiece. Main parameter settings and mastery, example explanation combined with topic exercises.

6. Curved Face Milling: Commonly used for the precision finishing of workpiece surfaces, typically employing ball-end mills for curved face milling. Focuses on the setup and control of key parameters, with example problems explained and combined with practical exercises related to the topic.

7. Hole Machining: Applications of G81 and G83.

Section 3: Factory Case Study:

1. Electrode Processing: Through multiple electrode examples, practice, and mastery, understand the electrode processing process and fixture setup. Pay attention to the key points for processing special electrodes, such as ultra-high and ultra-thin electrodes.

2. Molding Frame Machining: Proficient in molding frame processing techniques, experienced in handling oversized molding frame processing.

3. Molding Core Machining: Understanding of common molding core materials, knowledge of die heat treatment processes, control of excess stock before heat treatment for molding cores, and precautions during the machining of mating surfaces on front and back molding cores.

4. Full Mold Machining: Mastering the precautions for the full mold machining process, integrating the common mold processing flow of the factory and the department's processing flow.

5. Product Processing: Process considerations and parameter settings during product processing.

The above learning content can be completed in approximately three months of full-time instruction. Upon completing our course, you will be very familiar with the factory's operational processes and possess the experience equivalent to 2-3 years.
