UG Mold Design Phase Learning Content:

1. Mechanical drafting, CAD software commands, basic mold knowledge, machining processes, fundamental steps for assembly drawing, and applications of CAD auxiliary modules.

2. 3D software command explanation, product design, product analysis, DFM creation, export mold standard explanation, and application of 3D auxiliary modules.

3. Mold Structure Explanation (mold types, tilting cores, sliding blocks, thread forming, N-time parting, etc.), demolding steps, product rational modifications, product parting surface construction, demolding techniques, full 3D, complete 2D assembly drawings.

4. Provide CAD and UG mold component drawings, and prepare a BOM table for 0 piece order.

5. Comprehensive intensive training, where students design according to the factory's design process, with teachers organizing evaluations and summaries.

UG CNC Programming Stage Learning Content:

I. Basic Course:

1. UG Installation and Interface Setup (UG Sketch Examples Explained) 2. Basic UG Modeling Commands 3. UG Curve Applications 4. UG Solid Modeling 5. UG Surface Patch Techniques 6. Product Example Explanation 7. UG Machining Module and Engineering Drawing Instruction 8. Assembly and Automatic Molding

Section II: Basic Applications of UG Machining Module

1. Face Milling: Familiar with the applications, cutting methods, and main parameter settings for face milling.

2. Planer Milling: Understand the application scenarios, classifications, cutting methods for different workpieces, and the setting of main parameters, and master them.

3. Cavity Milling: Commonly used for roughing out workpieces, learn to select the right tools rationally when the workpiece sizes vary. Cavity milling usually employs a following-the-perimeter cutting method, with the setting and mastery of key parameters.

4. Cavity Milling Re-Clearing Corners: Primarily focuses on processing the excess material left after the roughing operation with the first tool; setting and mastering the main parameters.

5. High-contour milling: Often used for precise finishing on workpiece sides, the choice of tool should be based on the size of the R-radius at the bottom of the workpiece. Main parameter settings and mastery, example explanations, combined with practical exercises.

6. Curved Surface Milling: Often used for the precision finishing of workpiece surfaces, typically employing ball-end mills for curved surface milling. Focuses on setting and mastering the main parameters, with example problems explained and combined with practical exercises related to the topic.

7. Hole Machining: Applications of G81 and G83.

Section 3: Factory Examples:

1. Electrode Processing: Through multiple electrode examples and practice, master the electrode processing and clamping procedures, and pay attention to the points for special electrode processing, such as ultra-high and ultra-thin electrodes.

2. Molding Frame Processing: Proficient in molding frame processing techniques, experienced in handling oversized molding frames.

3. Mold Core Machining: Understanding common mold core materials, knowledge of mold heat treatment processes, control of stock allowance before heat treatment for mold cores, and precautions during the machining of the mating surfaces of front and back mold cores.

4. Complete Mold Machining: Mastering the precautions for complete mold machining, integrating the common processing flow of molds in the factory and the processing department.

5. Product Processing: Process considerations and parameter settings during product processing.

Above learning content is completed in about three months of full-time instruction, upon completion of our course, you will be very familiar with the factory's operational procedures and possess 2-3 years of work experience.
