1. Inadequate Water Output: Check if the connecting pipes between the aeration pond, sedimentation pond, disinfection pond, and sludge pond are clogged (usually due to detached biofilm and damaged elastic three-dimensional media).

2. Inconsistent aeration in contact oxidation pond: Check if the outlet valve of the aeration fan is in the correct position, and inspect for any damage to the aeration heads.

3. Insufficient Biofilm Attachment: Check if aeration in the contact oxidation tank is uniform and if sludge from the secondary sedimentation tank has been pumped into it. If these conditions are normal, add an appropriate amount of nutrients (sugar, urea, etc.) to the tank.

4. Water Quality Not Up to Standard: Excessive incoming water; uneven aeration or prolonged shutdown in the contact oxidation pond (biofilm must be re-cultured at this point); excessive sludge in the sedimentation pond (sludge must be thoroughly removed); shutdown of the disinfection unit and long-term failure to disinfect the effluent.

5. Automatic Control Failure: Check if the power supply to the automatic control cabinet is normal; inspect the associated lifting pump and aeration fan for damage (at this point, an excessive current may cause the circuit breaker to automatically trip).
