Cable Laying Construction Method (1) Construction Process Construction Preparation → Cable Tray Installation → Cable Laying → Insulation Testing → Signage (2) Technical Measures 1) Prior to construction, a detailed inspection of the cable is required, ensuring specifications, models, cross-sections, and voltage ratings all meet requirements, with no distortion or damage visible. 2) Conduct insulation tests prior to cable laying. For projects using cables below 1kV, use a 1kV megger to measure the insulation resistance between phases and to ground, which should not be less than 10MΩ. After the megger test, discharge the core wires to ground. 3) After the cable is tested, the cable ends should be sealed with rubber sheath and then wrapped with adhesive tape. 4) Cable Laying Equipment: When using mechanical cable laying, install the machinery in an appropriate location and properly set up the wire rope and pulleys. For manual cable laying, pre-install the roller. 5) Temporary Liaison Command System Setup a. For shorter runs or outdoor cable laying, radio walkie-talkies can be used for communication, and handheld megaphones for directing. b. Cable laying within high-rise buildings; two-way radios for directional communication, simple telephones for overall coordination, handheld megaphones for on-site guidance (or use a multi-functional amplifier, which is the equipment for cable laying指挥). 6) When laying multiple cables on a bridge架, it is necessary to draw out the cable arrangement in a table or diagram in advance, based on the actual on-site conditions, to prevent cable crossings and confusion. 7) Cable handling and bracket installation a. For short-distance cable handling, the rolling cable drum method is generally used. When rolling, follow the direction indicated by the arrow on the cable drum. If there is no arrow, roll in the direction of the cable wrap. Never roll in the opposite direction to avoid cable loosening. b. Selection of cable bracket installation locations should prioritize ease of laying, generally near the start and end points of the cable. During installation, attention should be given to the rotation direction of the cable shaft, with the cable outlet end positioned above the cable shaft.
