Cable Laying Construction Method (1) Construction Process Construction Preparation → Cable Tray Installation → Cable Laying → Insulation Testing → Signage (2) Technical Measures 1) Prior to construction, the cables must undergo a detailed inspection to ensure specifications, models, cross-sections, and voltage ratings meet requirements. No warping or damage should be present on the exterior. 2) Conduct insulation measurements prior to cable laying. For projects using cables below 1kV, use a 1kV megger to measure the insulation resistance between conductors and to ground, which should not be less than 10MΩ. After the measurement, discharge the core wire to ground. 3) After the cable testing is complete, seal the cable ends with rubber sheathing and then wrap them with tape. 4) Cable Laying Equipment: When using mechanical cable laying, install the machinery in the proper location and set up the steel wire rope and pulleys. For manual cable laying, pre-install the roller wheels. 5) Temporary Liaison Command System Setup a. For shorter runs or outdoor cable laying, radio walkie-talkies can be used for communication, and handheld megaphones for directing. b. Cable laying within high-rise buildings; two-way radios for directional communication, simple telephones for overall coordination, handheld megaphones for command (or use a multi-functional amplifier, which is the equipment for directing cable laying). 6) When laying multiple cables on a bridge架, a table or diagram should be drawn in advance based on the actual on-site conditions to prevent cable crossings and disarray. 7) Cable handling and bracket installation a. For short-distance cable handling, the rolling cable drum method is generally used. When rolling, follow the direction indicated by the arrow on the cable drum. If there is no arrow, roll in the direction of the cable's winding, but never in the opposite direction to prevent the cable from becoming loose. b. The selection of the installation location for cable brackets should prioritize ease of laying, ideally near the starting and ending points of the cable. During installation, attention should be given to the rotation direction of the cable shaft, with the cable outlet end positioned above the cable shaft.
