Chemical cleaning descaling process:
Recirculating closed-loop cleaning
Recirculating cleaning utilizes two existing parallel ash pipelines to form a loop, creating a recirculation system with the cleaning pump station. A certain concentration of acidic solution is added, which circulates through the ash water pipes for cleaning. As the acid washing decreases to a certain level, the acidic solution is continuously replenished. For short-distance single ash water pipelines, if conditions permit, a temporary pipeline can be laid to form a recirculation loop for cleaning. This process must be carried out while the system is offline, and it is complex and costly.
Open path cleaning
No two grey pipes should form a loop during cleaning; only a single grey pipe should be used for open-loop cleaning. The method involves connecting one end of the grey pipe to the cleaning unit, continuously preparing a specific concentration of cleaning solution in the blending tank, and then injecting it into the grey pipe either continuously or intermittently. This process requires additional cleaning equipment during shutdown, which increases costs.

Continuous cleaning without shutdown
The process involves continuously injecting a certain amount of acidic fluid while operating the ash conveying pipes, simultaneously adding a specific quantity of ash conveying pipeline cleaning inhibitor and pipeline cleaning descaler. This is an open-loop cleaning method. The primary role of the cleaning aids is to facilitate the reaction between the acidic fluid and ash deposits at a certain concentration and flow rate, while also enhancing their solubility in water, reducing the formation of air blockages, and ensuring the quality of ash pipe cleaning.
The procedure is as follows: Before cleaning, first estimate the required acid amount based on the total scale in the pipeline. Then, calculate the acid addition rate and the flow rate of the descaling agent and pipeline cleaning agent by considering the sludge water flow rate and acidity. During cleaning, take a sample at the front end of the sludge pipe every 30 minutes to test the acidity and strictly control it by adjusting the acid flow rate. In the later stage of cleaning, take a sample at the end of the sludge pipe every 15 minutes to test the pH value. When the pH value reaches a certain level and remains unchanged for 30 minutes, the cleaning can be deemed complete.

2. High-pressure water jet cleaning machinery
High-pressure water jet cleaning is efficient, cost-effective, non-damaging to workpieces, environmentally friendly, easy to operate, and safe.

Pipe Scale
(1) Classified by chemical composition, they can be categorized into carbonate scale, sulfate scale, silicate scale, and mixed scale, etc. The main components of carbonate scale are calcium carbonate and magnesium carbonate; the main components of sulfate scale and silicate scale are calcium sulfate and silicate compounds, respectively.

(2) Categorized by physical properties, there are two types: scale that is firmly adhered to the pot shell and pipe walls, and sediment that is loosely textured and easily detached.
Scale primarily forms due to the salts like calcium and magnesium in the boiler feed water that precipitate and adhere to the metal surface upon heating.
